Solid mahogany furniture in two elements, with a lower part, wider, with a mitered door and chamfered sides, from the inside.
The central panel consists of two elements joined in the center. The lock, the finely worked entrance and the key are original and in bronze.
On each side, there are two pilasters with capitals and chiseled elements, in bronze, at the top and bottom.
The whole rests on a plinth and a wooden base.
The massive top of this first part has a mitered frame. On it rests the upper part, recessed, which has a door with a chamfered mitre cut. The lower panel is composed of two parts joined in the middle, and the upper part, of a mercury mirror. Pilasters of the same finish also frame this second part, topped with a chamfer.
The interior is composed of three adjustable shelves on racks with a mahogany drawer, with original key and lock. The back of the furniture is in oak.
Sober and of beautiful manufacture, this piece of furniture with two bodies makes it possible to be used as well in a library, living room, for the storage of the books as in a bedroom.
