All-sided mahogany burl dressing table with geometric marquetry. This small piece of furniture features a single mahogany burl top, accompanied by a frieze of small lemon tree squares and rosewood triangles. The waistband features identical precious wood marquetry and a drawer with a working lock and original chased key. A hook lock closes the top flap. The top flap is fitted with a large mirror surrounded by a molded rod and held in place by original knee compasses. The interior of this dressing table features a storage space topped by a sliding mahogany shelf. Finally, this piece of furniture rests on S-shaped legs with scrolls at the top and bottom. It is mounted on castors and its four legs are held in place by a composition of four wooden elements linked by a large disc.
