The "Tronchin" table is a table with a top that can be raised and tilted at will, or even positioned horizontally.
It opens with a side shelf and a drawer on the front housing a small desk lined with green felt.
Invented by the cabinetmaker Louis Dufour during the second half of the 18th century, it only bore the name of the Genevan doctor a few years later. Note the fine molding on the edges of the base, giving it a beautiful elegance. It dates from the end of the 18th century or the very beginning of the 19th century, around 1800.
