Louis XVI period dressing table in marquetry. Late 18th century.
Rosewood marquetry, green-stained wood fillets and boxwood fillets. The rosewood is arranged in "butterfly wings" on the top. It stands on four sheathed legs with bronze sabots. The front opens with two drawers and a leather-lined writing tablet. The top opens to reveal a mirror and three drawers.
The two original locks are functional and fitted with a key. Recent varnish.
