Louis XV Period Marquetry Dressing Table

Circa 1750


Lovely Louis XV period Coiffeuse de Forme Mouvement, Rosewood Inlaid, resting on Four Cambered Legs ending in a Gilded Bronze Sabot.

Cette Coiffeuse Marqueté en Frisage, ouvre par Trois Abattants en Partie Supérieure. The Central Flap reveals a Mirror and a Niche. The Other Flaps Covering Lockers. In Ceinture, Two Tirois and a Tablette d'Ecriture Garnie d'un Cuir Dans les Tons Bordeaux.

Furniture of very fine workmanship, finished in stamped varnish. Pull knobs, shoes and lock escutcheons in gilded bronze.

Louis XV period, circa 1750, 18th century.
