Coat rack, wall-mounted umbrella stand, number 1367 in the KOHN catalog of 1916; it is also a hat rack and particularly rare with its 10 perfectly straight vertical columns, 4 large balls above it, 4 small balls decorate the umbrella stands equipped with their original zinc water collector. A shoebox with flap serves as a bench for putting on shoes. A cushion upholstered in Backhausen fabrics decorates and highlights the ensemble.
The bevelled mirror is original, and is signed with two or three stitches.
It is typical of the Viennese Secession and clearly shows the work of Joseph Hoffman.
