Large 18th century chiffonier, in rosewood, amaranth and lemon tree marquetry, topped with an original Saint-Anne marble.
This refined piece of furniture has five large drawers, the front of which is veneered with rosewood in the form of butterfly wings and surrounded by a lively amaranth rim. This one is decorated with a fillet of lemon tree.
These drawers are equipped with original locks, supplemented with bronze entries and adjusted keys, posterior to the time. Between each drawer, we find dust covers. The sides and drawer bottoms are in oak.
The uprights with canted sides with a horizontal rosewood marquetry in the center surrounded by a lemon tree fillet, end with slightly curved bump feet decorated with an original bronze shoe.
The sides of the furniture are made up of two large rosewood panels. This veneer is assembled in butterfly wings and is surrounded by lemon tree and amaranth.
