Support-height cabinet in "Boulle" Marquetry of Red Tortoise Scales and cut brass, on a blackened pear tree background.
It opens on the front with a pronounced curved leaf adorned with a medallion underlined by a finely chiseled brass rod. Its center features a bouquet decor on a flared pedestal and sheltered by a dome, all surrounded by a couple of birds, foliage, garlands of leaves ... Similar inlays adorn the angles of this door, also embellished of bronzes, one of them forming the entrance to a working lock. This piece of furniture is supplied with its original key.
There are many other ornaments on the whole of this Furniture. Thus busts of women, bronze falls, spandrels, brass nets and galleries, or even "Boulle" marquetry embellish its rounded uprights, its curved sides, and its high and low crosspieces.
The Mahogany interior consists of two shelves of the same wood, with scalloped and blackened front edges. They are placed on racks and therefore adjustable as desired over a total storage height of 74.5 cm.
Its top is a White Marble, with contours marrying the curved lines of the Furniture.
The back is in Oak.
