Barber in solid Mahogany and Cuban Mahogany veneer, composed in the upper part of a so-called "bowl" tray on which rests a tilting circular mirror, psyche type. This 23 cm diameter mirror, edged with Mahogany, is held by a base with two thin branches equipped, on both sides, with golden locking buttons.
This piece of furniture offers a small drawer barely 6 cm deep as a belt that we can easily imagine, almost two centuries ago, being used as a cabbage-cut storage. It owes its unique shape to the presence of the central shaft, integrated into its cutout.
This turned column, reminiscent of the Empire period, has in the lower part a succession of moldings of different sizes. It ends with a moderately cut tripod foot.
The discretion of this barber will allow it to easily find its place even in living rooms with small surfaces, and would decorate a room with refinement.
