Small Louis Philippe period solid walnut and veneered desk.
The upper part is composed of a narrow shelf decorated on three of its sides with a gallery cut out with spindles. It is supported at the front by two turned and molded columns and two straight uprights at the back. Underneath, this desk offers a space composed of four drawers, those of the top equipped with wooden knobs, those of the bottom with locks and their respective keys. The fronts of the drawers are symmetrical and have pronounced grooves.
The work area is covered with a current lambskin leather, embellished with a central Vignette and bordered with gold and hardback friezes. This tray has the particularity of being sliding, allowing to go from 27 to 41.5 cm deep. On the right side, this desk is equipped with a retractable drawer, decorated with a leather with colors and decorations similar to those described above for a perfect harmony.
On the belt, this piece of furniture opens with two drawers of identical capacities and locking.
The set rests on four solid walnut feet, generously molded.
It should be noted that each of the six drawers that make up this desk is mounted 'Tails of Arondes'.
