Table desk of small size in solid mahogany and veneer wood worked in marquetry of rhombuses forming a succession of perfectly proportioned cubes.
In front, its belt is composed of a drawer whose opening is made by a notch located below. This same facade is remarkable for its composition of rhombuses and its surrounding wood wire. It is underlined by a half-round rod in scalloped bronze, finely chiseled, which is also found around the belt.
The inlaid top is also provided with a mitered wire frame, underlined by a covering of gadrooned bronze rods.
The whole is supported by four turned legs in solid mahogany, with stopped flutes embellished with bronze asparagus, and also decorated with flanges at the top and bottom. These legs are joined by a double movement mahogany spacer, with a rectangular element in the center surrounded by a scalloped bronze.
This table is remarkable for its finesse and elegance.
