Authentic children's desk designed after the Republican school model of the late 19th century, dating from the 1920s.
This desk has a large sloping solid oak top, with interlocking, lifting with iron hinges. Upon opening, we discover a large storage space.
On the top, a strip is provided with a groove, in order to put the pencils, and a white porcelain inkwell.
The whole rests on four square legs, with a chamfer on each edge. An oak spacer connects all the legs and a central offset bar allows the legs to be brought together. The crosspieces are made of pine.
This small school desk will delight you with its warm color and its ideal dimensions. It retains the charm of the furniture of yesteryear.
