This elegant fall-front desk, entirely veneered with precious woods, is distinguished by its rosewood marquetry in leaf patterns, framed with lemon tree and Kingwood inlays. It opens with two drawers and two doors, featuring a wide central panel and a leather-covered top in Havana, adorned with gilt tooling decoration.
Dating from the transitional period between Louis XV and Louis XVI, circa 1770, this desk showcases remarkable craftsmanship.
