Elegant Louis XVI-style Cylinder Desk, inlaid with Rosewood veneer and mahogany fillets and standing on tapered legs with curved grooves.
This desk is inlaid on all sides and opens with two drawers on the top, a large drawer on the belt and a cylinder. This reveals a Sliding Writing Table with a Green Leather Top gilded with Petit Fer. Its inlaid top is encircled by a gilded openwork brass gallery. Beautiful and rich ornamentation in finely chiselled gilt bronze, such as the Gallery, Lingotière, Rosaces, Entrées de Serrures, Sabots, Médaillons, Drawer and Cylinder Frames and Chutes. Key included.
