Delightful Billet Doux, Sloping Desk in Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer from the Louis XVI period, resting on Tapered Mounts joined by a Spacer Shelf, ending in Toupie Feet.
This Soft Billet is topped with a Grey Veined White Marble Top, encircled by an openwork Gilded Brass Gallery, and opens with a Front Flap. This reveals Lockers, Two Small Drawers and a Writing Table with a Gilded Green Leather Top with Small Iron. The Small Desk is topped by a Removable Screen covered with Pink-Tone Fabric. Keyhole, Pull Knobs, Framing in Bronze and Gilded Brass. Has its own Key. Beautiful patina.
