Superb LOUIS XV style desk in marquetry made by
Alexandre Chevrié ébéniste d'art circa 1870.
It was awarded the silver medal at the 1870 and 1889 exhibitions.
This marquetry desk is adorned with superb gilded bronzes
which is a guarantee of quality for this piece of furniture.
The front features three drawers with a stamp on the central lock.
The rear panel on the visitor's side features three simulated drawers.
The top is encircled by a bronze moulding and is covered in havana leather
leather.
It stands on 4 curved legs adorned with beautiful closed clogs.
