Large and beautiful Louis XV style desk dating from the 19th century and stamped Gervais.Durand (1839-1911) famous Parisian cabinetmaker.
This desk is inlaid in amaranth veneer representing chevrons. It rests on four arched legs garnished with gilded bronzes. (These bronzes are also signed). This desk opens with three drawers on the front. The top is surrounded by a gilded bronze ingot mold, the full grain leather has been changed, it is engraved with a wheel.
Rare model in these dimensions and high quality cabinetmaking.
