Superb and Important Cylinder Desk in Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer in the Louis XVI Style, resting on Fluted Feet inlaid with Gilded Brass and terminating in Gilded Bronze Sabots.

This desk opens with three drawers at the top, a cylinder and four drawers at the bottom. Its Cylinder reveals Pigeonholes, Three Small Drawers and a beautiful Retractable Writing Table with Black Gilded Leather Top with Small Iron. The double right-hand drawer at the bottom has a chest. The top of the desk is topped with Grey Veined White Marble, encircled by an openwork Gilded Brass Gallery. Beautiful, rich ornamentation in Bronze and Gilded Brass, such as lock escutcheons, pull handles, fluting, gallery, rings, shoes, chopsticks, drawer and panel frames. Beautiful wood, beautiful patina, has its own keys.
