Around 1780
Lovely Bonheur du Jour Mahogany Desk from the Louis XVI Period, Opening with Two Doors and Two Drawers in the Upper Part. In the Lower Part, A Large Drawer and A Tray Unfolding to Reveal A Writing Tablet Lined With Green Leather Gilded with Small Iron.
The Top of the Desk is Topped with a Gray Veined White Marble Top Surrounded by a Perforated Brass Gallery. Its Entrances of Locks and Pull Handles in Golden Brass.
It Rests On Four Tapered Legs Ending In A Gilt Bronze Sabot.
Very Beautiful Essence of Wood.
