American desk also known as Bureau Rideau from the French brand Standart (plate on the desk), manufactured in the 1930s. It opens on the front with a wave-shaped curtain and has eight drawers in the lower part and two drawers in the upper part. Also eight storage lockers. There are two small drawers on the upper part for storing pens and pencils, which are particularly elegant. The desk is made of oak in a very shimmering patina. The top is smooth and in good condition. The sides of the desk are elegant with their grooved panels. This piece of furniture has been completely restored in our cabinetmaking workshop and is therefore perfectly usable on a daily basis.
