France, second third of the 19th century

Elegant hairdresser or worker resting on four moving legs. A spacer connects the uprights which are decorated with swan heads. The body is made up of an articulated top revealing a mirror and several compartments, one for sewing work, and the other which still holds its period silver candlestick. The front has two drawers, one of which is simulated. The other reveals a small morocco writing case.

Condition report: good presentation of the varnish, small accidents and restorations from use and maintenance.
