Charming solid cuba mahogany middle table featuring a raised bowl top. Its slightly recessed shape with a raised edge all around makes it an unusual table.
Made in Nantes during the Louis XV period, this harbor table is a fine piece of craftsmanship.
The top is made of 3 well-joined boards, and rests on a slightly curved belt that opens to a drawer with a recess. The drawer is embellished with a finely chased bronze pull knob. The inside of the drawer is in oak.
The sides and back of this Cabaret table also feature a slightly cut-out, scalloped crosspiece. The table rests on four curved legs tapering towards the bottom.
This uncluttered table will seduce you with its deep color and small dimensions.
