Red marble top surrounded by an openwork brass gallery size: 25.5/25.5 cm
Bears a label on the reverse indicating A. CHEVRIÉ, Manufacturer of stylish furniture and artistic cabinetmaking 7 Rue de Braque archives district in Paris. Above 11 rue Portefoin Bronze medal – Silver medal

*HAS. Chevrié is mentioned in 1878 rue Portefoin then rue Braque from 1886, as a manufacturer of art furniture, small stylish furniture and artistic fantasies, then rue Debelleyme at the end of the century. He participated in the Exhibitions of 1878 and 1889 where he obtained a silver medal.
