Solid walnut bookcase opening with two doors featuring recessed front frames with fine molding around the two glass panes. These doors, mounted on three brass hinges, close with an original iron lock accompanied by two diamond-shaped escutcheons. Below, a recessed drawer features two brass drop handles with rosettes. The uprights are fluted on both sides. This piece of furniture rests on four turned legs forming a top and ending in sabots. The sides of this bookcase are composed of two panels with moldings around the edges and uprights also with stopped fluting. This piece of furniture is fitted with five shelves edged in walnut. One of these shelves is positioned at the level of the central crosspiece of the doors. The back of this glazed bookcase is in oak.
