Small all-face mahogany veneered display cabinet with rosewood, light wood, rosewood and ebony marquetry. This furniture has a door whose glass is surrounded by scalloped bronze baguettes. The door is fitted with a functional lock featuring a bronze keyhole and key. The interior features two adjustable shelves on racks. The top rail features rosewood marquetry surrounded by light wood and rosewood fillets. In the center, a geometric pattern with ebony catches the eye. The uprights are trimmed with bronze falls at the top and inlaid with trompe l'oeil lightwood and rosewood fillets. The lower crosspiece is adorned with a bronze rosette and acanthus leaf trim. The display case stands on sheathed feet with brass clogs. It is topped by a violet breche marble with a groove.
This Louis XVI showcase is remarkable for its small size.
