The style of this bookcase with grilled shutters could be similar to that of bookcases bearing the FG stamp (François Guillemard, one of the suppliers to the crown's furniture repository), which was used by two generations of Parisian artisans, working under the reign of Louis XIV, the Regency, and Louis XV.
