This solid mahogany bookcase opens with two glass doors with mitered frames on the front. At the bottom, each door is darkened by a panel over approximately one-third of its height. Both doors feature brass escutcheons with original functional locks and keys.
The interior is lined with four sturdy height-adjustable shelves on racks.
The bookcase is topped by a projecting cornice with doucine and rests on a plinth ending in slightly recessed feet.
