Mahogany and mahogany veneer display case opening with a darkened door two-thirds of the way up with a glass pane highlighted by an elaborate bronze baguette.
This door is fitted with an original functional lock with leafed entrance and bronze chased key. The lower part of the door features a martin varnish panel depicting a gallant scene of lovers picnicking under a tree. This decoration is also surrounded by brass rods forming a frame.
The upper crosspiece of this furniture is embellished with molded baguettes, a wide bronze frieze forming flowers and scrolling leaves with an engraving in the center depicting putti playing in the grass.
The uprights are adorned with bronze falls, carved with quivers, smiling masks, ribbons, leaves and flowers.
The slightly curved legs end in hooves decorated with acanthus leaves.
The sides, designed in the same spirit as the front, are concave and painted with landscaped scenes.
The top is crowned with pink Pyrenean marble, with rounded front corners to match the shape of the piece.
The interior features three fixed shelves to match the glass panels, and a green velvet covering on the floor.
