Important Napoleon III bookcase in blackened pear wood, opening with two doors, decorated with numerous brass inlays. Each door has a two-thirds window, surrounded by a molded strip on the inside and several brass threads of different widths. In the upper part and on the lower panels, these interlaced inlays form Greek corners. The entrances, keys and top and bottom lock are original and in perfect working order. A chiseled joint cover joins the two doors. This bookcase has pilasters showing fixed fluted uprights and rests on top legs covered with brass collars.
This piece of property furniture has seven adjustable shelves, including three half shelves.
