    "Napoleon III Boulle Marquetry and Gilt Bronze Cabinet"
    Napoleon III period cabinet, made of ebonized wood and Boulle brass marquetry on a red-tinted tortoiseshell background.

    It opens at the bottom with two doors revealing three English-style drawers.

    The middle section, forming a writing desk, opens with a dark fawn leather flap decorated with small ironwork. The interior features four drawers, also in brass marquetry on a tortoiseshell background, and a central niche.

    The upper section opens with two doors and serves as a bookcase or display case (original glass).

    The cornice features a double frieze of gilt bronze, decorated with acanthus leaves and egg-shaped friezes.

    The apron is adorned in its center with a thick and substantial gilt bronze mask.

    The sides also feature rich gilt bronze decoration.

    Very good condition, with no damage or missing parts.
