Solid and veneered Cuban Mahogany bookcase, Louis XVI style, richly trimmed with brass.
It opens with two doors made up, on 3/4 of their surfaces, of panes underlined by brass rods with Doucine forming frames. Identical ornaments delimit the two solid parts of these doors which are each surmounted by two protruding rectangular panels. These are edged with quarter-round brass rods.
The interior, in Maple Veneer, offers four shelves 37 cm deep, as well as two narrower ones. Their molded edges are in Mahogany and all are placed on racks and therefore adjustable at will to a total storage height of 228 cm.
The right door is fitted with a latch in working order with top and bottom hooks and the cabinet is supplied with its key.
The Pilaster uprights of this Showcase are knocked out in the lower part and decorated with two times three grooves over the rest of their height, again lined with brass.
This precious, ubiquitous alloy also adorns the Cornice, the plinth, the joint cover or the sides of this Library. Note also the quality of its design, since the side panels are perfectly aligned with those of the facades.
Elegant, charming with its many brass attributes, this display or storage unit can be completely dismantled by a simple system of return screws.
