Bookcase in Blond Mahogany and Violet Wood, Louis XV taste - Late 19th century

Louis XV style bookcase, with central projection. It opens with three doors, with frames in Violet Wood Veneer. They are Grid Brass, and lock since provided with locks in working order. The Furniture is supplied with its three keys. The two side doors, narrower than the middle one, are also distinguished by the presence of windows in the upper parts. In addition, their lower parts are solid and composed of recessed panels, in Blond Mahogany Veneer arranged in Chevrons. Their centers are decorated with two Important Masks with male faces.
Undoubtedly, the interior of this Cabinet is partitioned. As it is, it is equipped with twelve shelves placed on racks and therefore perfectly modular. These three storage spaces, which can be converted as desired, will adapt to your needs and desires.
This Library is crowned with a curved Cornice, underlined by a chiseled Baguette. It is also furnished in the middle with a large Bronze Rocaille and, in its four front angles, with more Modest Chutes.
The facade uprights are also generously ornamented, since they successively display Foliage Bronzes, Spanishettes, and Sabots.
The low crosspiece is Chantournée, and embellished in the center with a last openwork Bronze.
The sides of this Cabinet use the composition described above: Bond Mahogany, veneered with Butterfly Wings, edged with a darker wood, Bois de Violette.
The whole thing sits on four small feet, slightly flared outward for the front ones, and straight for the rear ones.
It should be noted that, in addition to offering Reasonable dimensions, this Cabinet is fully removable.
One will appreciate on this Library the successful association of a Delicate design and a Rich Ornamentation. We will also remember its Brass Grilles, which bring a note of Modernity to this 150-year-old property.
