This table in solid mahogany and mahogany veneer has an undercut belt with a brass bracing rod around the edge. On either side is a drawer fitted with a bronze lens knob. The sides and drawer bottoms are in oak. The sides feature shelves surrounded by a mahogany frame. They are trimmed in new green leather with cold-pressed and gilded vignettes.
The table rests on four spindle-shaped feet with stopped flutes, ending in a ball shoe. At the top, there are stopped flutes on the belt.
This Louis XVI hot-water bottle table is topped with a beautiful circular gray Sainte Anne Belge marble. The marble is surrounded by a brass gallery, chased at the bottom and openwork at the top.
