Rare game table in olive wood, exotic wood marquetry and bone and mother-of-pearl inlays decorated with geometric motifs. The top of this console rotates and unfolds into a game board, revealing a green felt mat. Underneath, a generous storage space holds games, cards and pawns. This removable tray reveals a game of tric trac, backgammon, a chess table and a checkerboard.
Olive wood is abundantly enhanced by bone and wood inlays in caramel hues with amber contrasts.
The edge of the table accommodates a pair of sliding compartments, with a glass holder recessed in the opposite corners.
The table rests on curved legs joined in the middle by a spacer shelf.
A richly ornamented, multifunctional piece of decorative furniture.
