This square-shaped solid mahogany table features a drawer in the waistband with inlaid fillets and small painted motifs. The drawer is trimmed with pearled cup knobs with rosettes.
The sheathed legs, embellished with lemon fillets and small painted flowers, end in brass sabots.
The top, encircled by a composition of ebony and lemon, is composed of four identically decorated triangles mounted on brass hinges. By pivoting the top, a pin on the underside lifts one of the triangles to facilitate unfolding.
The opening reveals a play surface covered in red felt with braid.
Each corner features a small cavity for chips.
This little handkerchief table, highly decorative and useful as an occasional piece of furniture, will accompany you for long games with family or friends.
