A rare solid walnut games table with rich marquetry and thistle decoration. It opens with two flaps onto a burl walnut interior and a trompe l'oeil drawer along the apron. The crosspieces are molded and each features a different decoration. It rests on four saber legs. A very beautiful patinated finish. Note a small amount of wear re-glued onto the interior top at a hinge.
