Portfolio table with blackened wood structure, almost entirely covered with a "Boulle" marquetry of great quality and finesse. It is made of Red Turtle scales and chiseled brass, forming Arabesques, Rinceaux and Volutes.
Similar to a Console when closed, this piece of furniture is made up of a swiveling shutter top, revealing a games area stretched with current Red felt. The latter is bordered by a golden frieze on a black background and the eventful periphery of this top is also adorned with a pretty "Boulle" marquetry.
This Ceremonial Table has its four sides richly ornamented and furnished with cut-out brass rods similar to those delimiting the top.
The whole rests on four generously curved legs, embellished with Bronzes: Busts of naked children in the upper part, clogs in the lower part, Bone fillets uniting them.
We will also note the presence in the belt of Mascacons, in the center of the "front" and "back" of this Table, which will bring together your loved ones for a friendly game on a sumptuous field.
