A late 18th century Transition style wood veneered secretary, this "elegant" desk opens with a flap featuring a rich marquetry decoration depicting a scene of ruin and sailors unloading bundles, the two lower doors opening with a décor of Antique vases.
Probably made in Eastern France
This secretary is presented in good condition, but with old cracks on the flap.
