Small Louis XVI lady's secretary in satin veneer (and various types of veneer), trompe-l'oeil fluted panels, opening to a flap with writing desk revealing small drawers and lockers and two leaves in the lower part (with closed compartment), a belt drawer, stamped J. Chastel*, gray marble top, vintage late 18th century.
This secretary is in very good condition. We have his key, the locks work. The ornaments are in finely chiseled gilded bronze, decorated with knots and floral motifs. It is stamped see photos.
