Napoleon III period furniture in rosewood with burr cedar interior, comprising a flap at the top simulating 3 drawers and four drawers of the same size at the bottom.
The drawers are slightly curved on the front and highlighted by raised moldings. Each drawer is fitted with threaded escutcheons and original locks in working order, complete with keys.
The flap opening reveals a burr cedar tabernacle, comprising two niches and three drawers with cedar fronts and rosewood knobs. The flap is darkened with black leather in used condition, enriched with a gilded vignette.
The legs are rounded, the sides are curved and it rests on a projecting base.
