    Rare and superb cylinder desk by Gustave SERRURIER-BOVY born in Liège 1858 - 1910, progressive artist and precursor of the modernist and design movement of the late 19th century.
    An architect, interior decorator and furniture designer, he was one of the first representatives of Art Nouveau on the European continent.
    This cylinder desk in light oak, with outgoing top, features a central niche surrounded by shelving.
    2 drawers at the top and 2 drawers under the top.
    All brass hardware is original.
    Very nice patina.
