Pretty rectangular chest of drawers with central projection, from the transition period – 18th century.
In rosewood and amaranth, marquetry and Greek fillet in the frames and sides.
Spring-out side panels, cut-out base
Opening with three drawers in three rows, drawers and bottom of case in original oak.
Trimmed with original gilded bronzes, lion heads on each side,
Ring pull handles.
It rests on four arched legs, bronze hooves and topped with thick gray Saint-Anne marble.
Beautifully crafted chest of drawers. Beautiful Parisian work around 1750.
