This small “all-sided” Chiffonnière Commode in solid mahogany opens, at the waist, with a drawer with notches underneath to make it easier to pull out.
Set back, two other identical drawers are each fitted with two chiseled brass cup buttons.
The front uprights are covered with bronze caryatids supported by pilasters, sheathed in width and thickness, ending in small pairs of feet also in bronze.
The rear pillars are straight.
The whole rests on a massive and concave base at the front ending in four slightly rounded overhanging plates.
The top is made up of a single board chamfered at the bottom to give it finesse.
The drawer interiors are in oak.
