    This solid ash and ash burr veneer chest of drawers, dating from the 19th century, is a rare piece of furniture for its small size. The tightly-joined plank top is molded around the edges and has canted corners at the front. It opens with 4 identical drawers, each fitted with a key with round chased brass escutcheons. The locks are functional. The uprights of this chest of drawers are chamfered.
    The whole rests on a wide projecting plinth, ending in wide molded feet.
    The simple yet elegant design highlights the ash grain, making this chest of drawers a functional addition to a classic or modern interior.
