High Victorian English chest of drawers in mahogany veneer, consisting of eight drawers on four levels, all locking.
The rarity of this piece of furniture is due in particular to its wide upper band, comprising on each side two small drawers and a large drawer in the center.
Underneath, this chest has three large drawers whose height increases towards the bottom.
All the drawers of this elegant storage unit have two wooden knobs for easy opening and an original lock with key, in working condition.
Note the presence of dust covers between all the drawers. The drawers have a pine interior and the three large ones are equipped with a central crosspiece which, in case of heavy load, prevents the bottom from deforming, thus underlining the quality of manufacture of this piece of furniture.
The top of the furniture is made of a single piece of wood without joints and the back is made of pine.
Particularly high, this Victorian chest of drawers will seduce you with its deep color and its refined sobriety.
