Chest of drawers in solid Elm, Louis XIV period, with Modestly Curved facade.
Its wood top is molded on its perimeter and offers pretty lemon tree fillets, tangled in arabesques in the angles in particular.
This Property Furniture opens with three drawers with an identical depth of 17 cm. Each of them is furnished with an ornate entrance and a working lock, as well as two drop handles with central Flower motif. These Bronzes are posterior to this Commode, which is supplied with a Key. These drawers are also embellished with Lemon Tree Inlays, alternating straight lines and curves. It should be noted that these Discrete Decorations are nevertheless omnipresent on this Furniture since they are found on its sides, on its rounded front uprights, or even on its slightly animated lower cross member.
The whole rests on four feet, of which those at the front are decorated with Openwork Bronzes.
We will retain the Subtle Filets of Lemon Tree which, with Humility, bring personality to this almost 300-year-old chest of drawers. In addition, its Wood Top will undoubtedly allow it to adapt to a wide range of Ambiences.
