Beautiful chest of drawers in diamond-tipped violet wood marquetry, set in cross-veneered satinwood frames. The front is adorned with a poly-lobed cartouche. Strongly curved on all 3 sides, our chest opens with 2 bottom drawers and a large apron. Richly trimmed with finely chased and gilded bronzes, the commode is topped with a royal red marble molded in the shape of a "bec de corbin".

Partly 18th-century, with refinished back and 19th-century bronzes. The proportions are elegant, the marquetry in the taste of Migeon and the 18th-century marble are very meticulous, this is a fine model.

Excellent condition, our chest of drawers has been fully restored with a brand-new pad varnish.
