Louis XIV style chest of drawers, known as "Tombeau", by definition offering generously curved lines, a domed facade and rounded sides.
Its top is a dark granite marble with white veining, cut in Bec de Corbin on its perimeter.
This Apparatus cabinet opens with three large drawers of varying depths, organized in three rows and assembled in "Dovetails". Their facades, just like the sides of this chest of drawers, benefit from a thick Rosewood veneer harmoniously arranged in friezes and chevrons, and feature flowery marquetry in light wood and tinted Green. Each of these drawers is provided in the center with a keyhole - real for the first, fictitious for the next two - and two drop handles "aux Valets" in Bronze. The cabinet is supplied with its key.
The front uprights are ornamented over their entire height with cut-out Bronzes finished in Sabots.
The cul-de-lamp of the low crosspiece is also embellished with a shell with leaf patterns.
The interior of the drawers is in Oak.
