<meta charset="UTF-8" />Children's chest of drawers with detached columns in Cuban mahogany veneer, gray granite marble top, and beautiful finely chiseled gilt bronze hardware. It opens with three large drawers fitted with handles and a drawer hidden in the belt. Empire style, 19th century.
Our chest of drawers is a rare children's piece, a reproduction of an "adult chest of drawers," usually 130cm long by 90cm high, here adapted to the dimensions and height of a child to furnish their bedroom: 76.5cm high.
It has all the makings of a great piece; it is an interesting collector's item, one of those small details that add charm to a collection and an estate.
Very good overall condition; the mahogany is waxed, the veneer is in good condition with no missing parts. A crack has been filled on one side.
