Commode in marquetry of ivory, sycamore, boxwood, ebony, amaranth, rosewood, and rosewood from the XX period. Indeed this chest of drawers is a copy of the chest of drawers made by Georges Schlitig (died in 1782 and received master in 1765) for Marie Antoinette's apartment in Versailles in the 18th century. only the initials MA in a cartridge on the amount (with the figures of Marie Antoinette).
The marquetry represents gallant scenes from the Court of France in an architectural landscape. This chest of drawers has been completely restored with old-fashioned varnish.
